Budget builds are particularly popular, demonstrating that enthusiasts can get involved in off-road projects without necessarily spending a fortune.

Hildebrand described two experiences in particular: after using AMSOIL Diesel 4-IN-1 fuel additive, the team noticed quieter injectors and a smoother idle in one truck. After changing the oil in a 1,500-horsepower Cummins-powered square-body truck, they observed an 8-psi increase in oil pressure.
