The AMSOIL Heritage
AMSOIL’s heritage starts with being one of the first to bring synthetic lubricants into everyday automotive use, long before synthetics were common. Over the years they’ve built out products for passenger cars, heavy‑duty diesels, powersports, marine and industrial equipment, focusing on performance under heat, load and extended service intervals.
History of Synthetic Oils
Synthetic lubricants began as specialty products for extreme conditions where conventional oils couldn’t keep up, such as aviation, racing and severe industrial use. As the technology matured, synthetics moved into everyday engines, offering better cold‑flow, high‑temperature stability and protection, which is why they’re now a smart choice for many modern vehicles and equipment.
