The WIX Air Filter Monitor eliminates time-consuming guesswork for knowing when to change light-duty and heavy-duty air filters by providing service personnel with an accurate and easy-to-use mechanical restriction gauge.

The Air Filter Monitor measures the amount of restriction to airflow through the air filter housing assembly. An increase in airflow restriction may cause a reduction in power and an increase in fuel consumption.

Through constant monitoring of your air filters restriction, maintenance personnel can tell at a glance when filter service is required. The monitor “locks up” at the highest restriction measured during engine operation and can be read before or after engine shutdown. The Air Filter Monitor reduces the need for time-consuming filter inspections and needless replacement, just because the filter looks dirty.

Constructed of temperature resistant materials that are precision fitted, the Air Filter Monitor can stand up to a wide range of conditions in both the heavy-duty and light-duty environment. To prevent contamination from airborne vapors or dirt, each monitor is engineered with a sintered bronze filter inside the brass fitting.

The WIX Air Filter Monitor is a practical and accurate tool for determining correct filter maintenance intervals-thus preventing over-servicing of your Air Filters, which lead to excessive costs to you.

Easy To Install

The WIX Air Filter Monitor is available in four easy-to-install models; the Direct Mount (part no. 24800), Direct Mount (part no. 24801) Remote Mount (part no. 24802), or the Chrome Bezel Dash Mount (part no. 24804).

Direct Mount #24801 LD Air Filter Monitor For use on light-duty, fuel-injected gasoline or diesel engines. Constructed of temperature resistant materials to be installed directly to the outlet section of the air filter housing. Complete installation instructions are included.

Remote Mount #24802 Air Filter Monitor Various locations can be achieved with ten feet of hose, adhesive mounting bracket, and 1/8” NPT brass fitting. Mounting bracket is engineered for screw mounting. Installation instructions are included.

Dash Mount #24804 Air Filter Monitor Comes complete with 10 feet of hose and a 3/8” brass fitting. Detailed instructions are included.

Part numbers 24800, 24802 and 24804 are suitable for heavy-duty gas and diesel engines and a must when checking turbo-charged diesel engines. Each gauge has a reset button so that the unit indicator can be reset to 0 after each changeout, allowing you to maintain accurate restriction records.
