Price Changes Coming Up

Happy New Year to all!  I hope your holidays went well, and you got all the parts you needed for your car or whatever project you are currently working on.

As I write this, I noticed that Amsoil has released, or very soon will, their brake fluid.  More information on this will be posted as I get it.

For this quick posting, I did just get word that due to the ever increasing costs of additives and base stocks, another new price change will be coming up as of March 1st.  Valvoline, Castrol, Chevron, Shell, ConocoPhillips, Petro-Canada, ExxonMobil and Citgo have all already shown price increases last month and now this month.  While Amsoil tries to hold off on increases, if their production costs keep going up, they eventually have to breakdown and raise their prices as well.

However, the value of using Amsoil hasn’t changed.  With most all of their fluids you can run extended drain intervals which more than makes up the cost when comparing it to other brands, making the overall cost to use Amsoil less.  Plus you get the best protection on the market, and in most cases better performance and increased MPG.  At over $3 per gallon around here today when I looked, every little bit helps.

Have you tried out the PI Fuel Additive?  If you have several thousand miles on your car, it’s quite possible it isn’t performing as well as it could as the injectors slowly get plugged up by debris in the fuel.  The PI should clear this up and allow it to run at peak efficiency like it did when new.  Reclaim some of that lost power that could cost hundreds of dollars with an injector flush from the Dealer with a simple treatment of PI costing just under $9 (less with one of our wholesale membership).

As usual, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
