AMSOIL has fertilizer?

When I first became an Amsoil Dealer, one of the things that surprised me was a brochure and price list in my kit showing ALTRUM Vitamins and Supplements and AGGRAND Natural Lawn and Garden Products.  What the heck does this have to do with oil?  ALTRUM is a separate health division of AMSOIL, founded on the idea that we put the best products into our vehicles by using Amsoil, we should put the best available products into our own bodies to keep them running at peak efficiency as well.  But we’ll save the ALTRUM line for another posting.

AGGRAND was founded on a similar idea, but also from the business standpoint that Al, Amsoil’s founder, is a businessman, and saw potential in a fertilizer company that he was looking to buy many years ago.  Some of you might recall a company called AGGREEN.  It was popular in the areas it was known to be sold in. Al bought the company, and now it’s AGGRAND.

It’s been a good seller over the years, and held it’s own, but the market was slow to respond to organic products. But with the changes over the past few years, the rising costs of chemical fertilizers, organics becoming more popular, and evolving “green” movement, AGGRAND has become a very popular selling item and the Amsoil warehouses are always needing to restock. So popular, that AMSOIL just redid their production facility for these products and now have 4x the capacity they did a year ago.
