It didn’t take me long to come up with another option after separating myself from Green Hybrid Systems and the hydrogen generator system they have. As you know in previous posts, this is probably one of the best systems available. But since they overhauled the systems and changed their marketing to be focused primarily towards over the road fleet trucks, this left me more or less out in the cold for my own business ideas, which was originally to carry a good system that I could sell to my customers, with most being the common driver. While the system would work just fine in the average car or truck, the “Return on Investment” just didn’t warrant the purchase for this type of customer. Another change in the Green Hybrid System marketing would have me focusing a lot of time marketing their system exclusively, when my original idea was to offer it as a good product within my own business. If you have been reading my posts here and elsewhere on their system and are interested in one, contact them directly. They can put you in touch with the Rep for your area.
Enter HHO Monster! When I was setup at the HHO Games in February, the booth that was next to me was HHO Monster. They don’t build their own systems, at least not yet, but rather their goal is to make a one-stop-shop for the HHO hobbyist as well as the person looking for a complete ready to install system. They were interested in carrying the Green Hybrid System back at the show, but their marketing required that anyone distributing their system could ONLY distribute their system. This isn’t what HHO Monster wants; they want to offer different options to their customers. Rather than the customer searching the Web picking out components here and there, and trying to locate hard to find parts, HHO Monster has worked out arrangements with many of the top different manufacturers so customers don’t have to hunt.
When talking to several people about HHO systems, often the feedback I have received is the lack of a central place to get pricing and system information. HHO Monster’s goal is to fix that, and this fits in with what my own goals are. Anything on their site, I can now get. As they get new parts and other manufacturers come aboard, these will all be available through me as well. Their product lines are now part of my product line, with no exclusivity clause.
If you are a manufacturer of any HHO components, they may be interested in carrying your product as well, provided it meets their strict standards of quality.
In the future, I will probably be adding several of these systems to my Web Site. These do not offer the advanced computers I have talked about, but I’ve been assured that all those electronics, while nice, are not necessary, and without them the price drops down drastically. Systems range from around $300-600, depending the engine size and whether it’s more for a hobby unit or a serious permanent automotive or truck arrangement. Yes, that is for a system, not just one fuel cell, not just one component, but everything you need to install and get you going down the road saving on fuel costs.
HHO Monster is also collecting data and testimonials. One of their current customers is a branch of Roto-Rooter that installed a system to try out and saw such positive results that they added them to the rest of their trucks. They submitted a nice testimonial that will soon be publically available giving more details on the system they used and specific gains.
My next task is to figure out which system will work best with my Mustang, install it, and see the specific results I get from it. This should be installed and working before the next Mustang show I go to. After that, probably my V6 Chrysler minivan, since I use that to travel around the state to different shows with my booth supplies, and it gets worse MPG than my V8 Mustang! So stay tuned…!
